06 Sep Fix Your System. MS Windows.
Today, I encountered a problem with my computer. Start button was not clickable. After click on it just nothing happens.
I decided to try to fix this issue with System File Checker. System File Checker is a utility in Windows that scans and restores corrupted files. It should fix missing and corrupted system files. Often, when Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, System may not behave as expected on your computer machine. Some Windows functions may not work or System may crash.
To run this utility, you need to open command prompt with administration access. To do that you can use your search bar in on the bottom left side on your display. Start typing “Command prompt” or cmd, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
In the command line type sfc /scannow and press ENTER.
The sfc /scannow command will scan all Windows files, and fix corrupted files with a cached copy located in a compressed folder at C:\Windows\System32\dllcache.
! Do not close this Command Prompt window until the verification is 100% complete.
Now, everything works fine! Hope it will solve your issues, too!
